Practically unplayable after update

As the title says. I want to initiate an Expedition and while I can, the game is unplayable. Even with all my settings on Standard (lowest setting) it's like watching a slideshow. I have never had this problem before, at least not as bad as this, and the frame rate stutter makes it unplayable for me. I have not changed anything on my pc, so I expect it to run as normal. I don't use mods, I have all my drivers up-to-date, so what gives?

Seriously, try running it in boreded window mode. Fixed that for me.

If your game is crashing before it even gets to a save or new save....it may be one of two things.

1. Try running the game as administrator. Windows can get really picky about whether you can be trusted to allow a program to create folders/update files. If it works when you run as Admin, it was Windows.

2. Check your antivirals and make sure NMS is on the white list for allowed programs. Again, the virus checker may decide the game is asking to do something risky and deny access.

In both scenarios, the game can't write the needed files to update your existing save or create a new save. Sometimes accessory programs can also cause problems. OBS (not even sure what that is) or streaming products can cause problems, especially on a new update. Try turning those off if you use any.

Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB 3200 ram, Win 10, RX 570 8GB, 1080p/60hz

If a setup like that had issues, I'd assume an issue with new hardware/new drivers & the patch code. I'd be more likely to expect 'issues' with brand new GPUs than with years old/established ones. /shrug

Except KSP2 was only being in hard development from may 2022 onwards.
Before may they only had VAB videos, and multiple talks of how they wanted the game to be, blablabla.
Then they apologized about the delay, (probably because of taketwo putting them against the wall) and actually started doing something....But I hardly doubt the game will not be buggy and missing a LOT of content.

For me the Game will start up, but when I try to use the controller it crashes with a message that an error occurred and will be shutdown. Game works fine with the keyboard and mouse, but as soon as I use the left stick of the controller it crashes. This controller has worked fine for the past year, and was working fine yesterday before the update. I used a different controller, thinking that was the issue, and it too causes the same crash.

I'm currently using Steam on Linux, OS: ubuntu 22.04. I've tried multiple proton installations and no matter which one is running, I get the same crash / error.

I had to update my graphics driver and turn graphics down to high from ultra and it works smooth as glass.

I have fully updated driver as well, on lowest settings possible, and still crashes.

Noooooo, really?

[Flexible Knot]

Borderless / Tessilation off / all others maxed.
Game remains a little stuttery, and crashed after a couple minutes.
Will wait a few days for bug fixes.
