Is it possible to unlock all blueprints and building parts only by exploring?
Using buried technology and nanites, you can buy all blueprints and building parts at the Space Anomaly. I'm about to start a new game. This time I want to discover all blueprints and building parts by exploration, questing, tech vendors and Blueprint analyzer.

Using this playstyle, will I be able to acquire all blueprints and building parts that you can buy at the Space Anomaly?

then it's going to be, base building (aliens in ur base giving u recipes for base parts)(dunno if u can get all building modules without using burried tech) and factory raids (getting the crafting recipes)(can take very long since there is going to be big pause before u get more recipes)

Yes, it is completely possible. On one of my sauves, I have all the blueprints of the Space Anomaly using exclusively exploration to get the nanites and salvaged data needed.

How else would you unlock al the blue prints? What are you not doing that you did before?

Normally, you unlock majority of building and tech blueprints on the Anomaly. Ztreemer wants to avoid that and find all the blueprints in the wild.

Now I understand. In my head "tech vendors" would include the tech vendors on the Anomoly.

Ah, yeah:)
This is gonna be a looooong playthrough if he wants to find all of them "out there". I wouldn't have the patience to do that. Godspeed to him!

Blueprints, yes. Base parts no. Crashed ships, travellers, and manufacturing facilities are where you get most blueprints normally acquired at anomaly. Buried cache and damaged machinery is where you can get exosuit and multi tool upgrades (mostly x class, but others do occasionally appear). As Zak mentioned, it is a long playthrough, but I thoroughly enjoy the hunt.

There are some blueprints you can only get on derelict freighters.

Of course, the quicksilver items need to come from the Anomaly.

In almost 2000 hours of gameplay, I didn't even know you could buy the craftable components at the anomaly (items like microprocessor). I've always acquired those by raiding factories...

I legit have never seen these in the wild, so where or how is it possible to locate the blueprints for the medium or large refiner? Is it provided during one of the base building quests?

Since the original Overseer’s mission has changed, where or how is it possible to locate the blueprint for the Save Point? Pretty sure the ON,Y place to obtain this BP is from the Anomaly. <- so from that one item alone, the answer to the OP is NO

Are you going to attempt this in Permadeath mode, highest difficulty? Sometimes called Ironman.. just curious.

Yeah, there are many base-building blueprints you cannot get unlocked without the Anomaly.
Also, everything the QuickSilver vendor sells is also exclusive to him. So there would be none of that stuff, including almost every character customization item in the game as well as all the base parts.

So you're right, the answer to the question is just 'No' if someone is going for 100% Catalog completion or anything like that.
[Honestly not even sure you can get 100% Catalog in a normal game either. I think things like Solar Sails and expedition stuff is in the Catalog but not unlockable, ATM.]

Otherwise, sure you can play the game and 'do almost everything' without utilizing the Anomaly. It will be a VERY long and somewhat frustrating game, more like the original version, but obviously it can be done if that's all someone is looking for.
The only requirement for this would be to start a 'Custom' game and 'turn OFF the Tutorial' before starting, otherwise you are essentially forced by the tutorial missions to go to the Anomaly and buy at least one tech and all that.
I have a feeling this isn't what the OP was hoping to do, though.

On my later games, I restricted myself by not being allowed to buy anything with units or nanites, but I could exchange things - buried tech for for building parts etc. I think you can find all technology non-building blueprints by exploring, though I personally haven't found them all.

You can get those during base building or base computer missions.
