Where is Base Salvage Capsule?

Does the Base Salvage Capsule still exist? I remember being able to get one but can't seem to find it. Or has it gone from the game? Haven't played for a while and started a new game. If you can still get it, how?

It's a buildable found on the Anomaly paid for in Salvaged Data in the category leading off with the save beacon, refiners, landing pads. etc....

I just looked earlier, and I don't know how I could have missed it since I checked each tab in the store three times, pointing at each one just to be sure, even the tabs with the light fixtures and banners --

It's not one of the technologies unlocked at the Nexus, it's one that you just get automatically, for free.

Make sure you are looking in the right place to build it (and that you aren't trying to build it on your freighter, it doesn't work there). I often look in the wrong place at first, expecting it to be with the refiners category, for some reason.

I read somewhere you have to have your freighter to get the capsule. Don't have a freighter yet so can't check that out.

Yeah I just checked. I don't have it either -- and I keep passing on the free freighters I've been offered. As my luck has it they're all C-class garbage scows.

That can't be it, I have built it on save games where I have never deleted any bases.

I also have read elsewhere it unlocks when you get a freighter, which seems like a strange condition for what it is, but could be right. I don't recall ever trying to build it before that point.
