Hud Change?

So I watched ign's recent video on their official website. And apparently they changed the hud.
It now looks like the Hud for Destiny: simplistic, informative, everything placed on.
It's not as sci-fy like anymore, or at least that's what I feel like, considering the design of the game is a sci-fy inspired one.
Personally, I dont really give a ♥♥♥♥ about, but my mind, it doesnt feel astetically pleasing anymore. Again, I am not hating it just because of a simple hud change, but I feel like it's dragged off the art just because of it.

What do you guys think? Change it back or leave it in?

can someone link me up a comparison? i know changes were made, like the temperature hadnt used to always be there, but i dont really know how much changed with it

I watched on nms's official website, but the video is still there.
It's also on ign.
Just watch the videos and then watch their older ones.
You will notice a change.

New HUD just owns more space on a screen, they have to make it completely look like view from the helmet,or it take away the feeling of presence even more.

yeah, it just looks like its showing more necessary information than before. thats a good thing, obv

keep in mind there will be a thing where the hud gets out of the way for screenshots

I was thinking of doing a UI breakdown of the current hud, think it's worth a shot?

It's still fairly similar to the old UI. It always had a simplified "Destiny" look, it's just more of it now.
