Super Wide and Multi Monitor support?
Will the game support superwide screen sizes and multi monitor screen sizes? ie, I run, most games, in Eyefinity at 5760x1080. It takes up some real estate but is ah-mazing to play in these resolutions. Also,will it be able to run superwides, ie, 1440 and greater?

If it does run superwides and multi-monitor screen sizes fluently, will it be able to do so without the cinematic "bars" that appear in some games? For example, off the top of my head, The Evil Within allowed you to get rid of the cinematic bars but they returned at super wide sizes.

Thanks for the input and most definitely looking forward to this game come early August!

i run a triple setup too at 5900x1080 (bezel corrected) and it is especially awesome on space games, with the lights out, headphones on, playing elite on 3 screens is like looking out a cockpit into space, its awesome, i really hope NMS gives us that option too.

that plus HOTAS support and ill be happy.

There's no doubt in my mind they'll be supporting a variety of HOTAS from the gate. I have a nice litle setup running Elite and Star Citizen and it's pretty bad a$$.

You got problems with running games on a single monitor with normal res?if not it is cool,
or it is looks like you will skip the game only because of that

Umm, never said I had a "problem" playing games on normal rezs. What is a "normal" rez to you? 1080? 1280? 4k? There are 10 different immediate resolutions that come immediately to mind when people game. Everything from 800x600 all the way to 4k. I play most of my games at 5760x1080 because I saved my money, bought my equipment and set up my rig the way I wanted to enjoy it. I play plenty of games at a "normal" 1080 rez, least the ones that don't support wide screen gaming.

Just an FYI, about 75% of the games coming out these days support widescreen and ultra wide screen resolutions. All the way up to 4k if you want it. In fact, I've enjoyed everything from the newer Tomb Raider game to Total War: Warhammer in ultra wide screen. It's quite nice.

So if you run the game without knowing about sw\mm support,and upon entering menu screen you will see that it doent support,
what? you will get upset that much and just unistall\refund?

Again, I ASKED if it would support multi-monitor setups or superwide screens. I in no way, shape or form said I wouldn't buy the game, ask for a refund or troll my own questions. YOU, however, haven't voiced an opinion on the matter, answered my question or even maybe showed me an article you were familiar with. You're trolling my post. Period. You've not, in any way, have added to the discussion or helped. That's trolling. Good or bad, it is what it is. Unless you can honestly answer my question or help, don't input anything. You're not adding to the discussion. If anything, you're taking away from it.
Dude, you want to play this game or not?If you want, just play and see if it supports or not,otherwise if the fact that it dont support 5 monitors and theatre screen makes you cry,refund and blame the game, then you are just a crying troll,or most likely a zomb wich trying to feel special and ban the game only because of the screen res.

Any updates on 21:9 native support? I'm on 3440x1440 panel here, and in surround.

Yes you would. Is like buying a pair of trousers, taking them home and then not fitting.
Hi guys, I've just tried, and didn't spent more than a couple of minutes so this may not be final.
sw\mm is supported. I played in 5760x1080, the framerate was a bit down though but I hadn't the time to adjust the things. the Issue I stumble upon was FOV, in game it's soft cap at 100, via config file you can go higher but I made a few tries (120, 150 and 250) without any good results.
I'll make further tests tonight.
It does work @ 5760x1080, but the UI is stretched and looks awful. Maybe some can tolerate it, but I had to drop back down to a single screen.

I had the same deal. Tried it for awhile in multi-monitors but the game isn't Hor+ like it could be. The UI is stretched, the bottom of the screen can disappear, etc. It's a shame because running dual Sapphire Tri-X R290s in Eyefinity and Xfire really makes the game look amazing in multi-monitor.

I also tried to change the FOV in lower and higher ticks and had no good results as well. You'd think, that with a game like this, of this caliber and exploration, that multi-monitor support would have been included. Sucks.

Yeah, it's amazing, isn't it :)

I'm still hoping that the flawless widescreen team can do something with this in the near future. This game is perfect for it.
It would be nice if Flawless could. However, part of the problem I'd see would be the technical limitations due to the stretched UI during the mini cut-scenes that happen when you use the transmitters on planets. Considering you have multiiple mini scenes happening from every angle of the screen it's hard to say how'd you stretch it one way and keep the correct aspect ration intact. I hope they can, but even I have my doubts.

Hmm yeah, I didn't consider that. Maybe the could do it in such a way that it just restricts the ui and cinematics to the middle screen (like GTA-V).

Running two 1080 cards and three Dell 27" GSync 144htz monitors. I had to edit the config file to allow higher resolution than the UI provides for:
<Property name="ResolutionWidth" value="7790" />
<Property name="ResolutionHeight" value="1440" />
I use 55 for the bezel correction.

Once I figured out that all three monitors needed to be plugged into the same card, the graphics are perfect! Even though the UI is distorted, I spend more time playing than interacting with the UI. I just cannot ever picture going back to the tunnel vision of using a single monitor.

This still makes for a jacked experience in that the FOV can NOT be adjusted accordingly. Also, the UI is kind of important in a game like this. The fact that it pops up in all 4 corners of the screen makes for a problematic experience. While enjoyable, it's far from being the best way to play at this time.
Ultra-Wide (21:9) Yep!
