Developer console

Not sure if this subject has been raised before, but if NMS has a developer console like Half-life 2 and Elder scrolls titles, we might be able to determine and share our coordinates.

Yes, it is being developed for the PS4, but not for the Xbox One, unfortunately.

There is no issue with sharing your coordinates and where you are. The problem is when your far apart it can take a while to meet up especially as you would have to stop and make several fueling stops.

It'd be fun if they had a dev console in-game, but I highly doubt there will be with this game.

There will probably be mods, though, which can usually do all kinds of crazy stuff

I guess not, as it would be abused for cheating by some.

There are a lot of games (even games with much more multiplayer elements than this one) where the devs put in cheat options intentionally. Why would NMS be different?

Yeah, but there are special console hardware for developers.
