wheres the oxygen?

i spent 2 hours going from system to system, station to station, visiting every trader, and i cant find any oxygen at all, did they remove it?

I noticed oxygen is hard to come by as well. So I found an oxygen gas deposit and built a mine for it. Now have an abundance.

You are probably good now with the mine, but they've also changed every secondary resource on planets/rocks to something that is actually useful. Plenty of additional oxygen to be found that as well. ;)

Oxygen is easy once you get an oxygen harvester, or three. May have to buy the recipe on the Anomaly

OH is that what it is? I am a pretty new player so all the issue people are talking about i cant say as i haven't played for years or hours but i definitely noticed i couldn't buy oxygen anymore. just playing normal mode like i was a month ago.

I started that but painfully slow and it only holds 250 so you cant really leave it for more then a few minutes or its a waste imo.

this is how new I am as of today I am seeing people talking about mines...Not a clue about that. I just sorta learned how to get my inventory slots maxed out lol

Found myself ocean planet today, with A-rank Oxygen spot. So I'll be building myself Oxygen base there in a bit. Should cover most of my Oxygen needs.

Also building base on water surface is always such beautiful sight.

its only a waste after you can unlock gas collection(how much data does this cost to get?). something you can get before gases. to each his own.

i saw this option but I didn't do it. I just want to be able to by oxygen not have every resource known to man on the market that wasn't there before and ridiculous amounts, which is what many games with this option kinda of implies. I an human like everyone else. Yes its my choice not too but if the options there I most likely will take advantage of it

Yeah you need to be using the (not so) newfangled industrial gas sucker, not the (ancient) atmosphere harvester. You can get 100s or even 1000s per hour and store huge amounts.

I think all planets have oxygen hotspots so one way or another you can get infinite oxygen into your base(s).

There's technology called "Survey Device", from Space Anomaly, which allows you to scan for mineral, gas, or power hotspots.

Once you have found the spot you want, and have unlocked Gas Extractor, you can build one or couple at the hotspot, and those will automatically collect the resource for you. You can also connect them to storage containers (Supply Depots) which can hold 1000 of said resource each.
