Star Citizen fanboys attacking this game
These Star Citizen fanboys are attacking this game on various forums and media websites. This Star Citizen cult is getting scarier and scarier by day. Its really like a cult. And the funny thing is that Star Citizen has little to offer so far. With their millions dollars of crowdfunded money so far they have only produced a $hitty alpha demo which runs like crap on most people's systems. These Star Citizen fanboys are so dumb, non-tolerant of other space games and ignorant.

Well they have to defend their pay to wn over priced ships somewhere. I mean SC looks like it would be an amazing experience in VR but the prices of the ship bundles are ridiculous.

No Man's Sky is an exploration game with little variation, terrible lighting and zero replay value. Star Citizen is an MMO.

Freemium quality is the norm now.
Really? I think there will be plenty of replay value in NMS. Oh and it's actualy going to be out soon too. SC has overpriced ships and a tech demo. I won't even look in Star Citizen's direction until it is released either, as the research I've done on it suggest shady business practices. I doubt it'll ever be finished.

And this makes you just as bad as them. I shall happily play both while you children squabble about which is better or not.

Sorry you suck ass at games that actually require skill - go try to defame Star citizen elsewhere - that game makes this one look like a shallow piece of ♥♥♥♥.

With all due respect to someone who just apparently can't defend his chosen game with any cogent arguement or civility, all you can say is in theory one game is better than the other, neither game is released yet to know anything about them, one because it's being kept secret and one because it's not even made yet.
Mr. Miyagi 30 ABR 2016 a las 1:59
Everyone from Gillian Anderson to andy Serkis and mark Hammil is going to be in Star Citizen - who are all of the NOBODIES involved with NMS?
-Oh yeah, nobody.
Star Citizen single player is SET TO LAUNCH at the fall of this year (2016).
The tech demo is a lie - and there is even a playable version of the multi player persistent universe.
Your slanders are nothing more than conjecture bassed lies.
Your "research" is non existant where their market data is left on the table in complete trasnparency on their website.

AAA actors don't agree to do FULL ACTING ROLES (just like any other modern cg role such as Benedict Cumberbatch playing Smaug) FOR THINGS THAT WILL NEVER RELEASE.

How ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid are you - is your mother your aunt - I mean, are you ACTUALLY inbred?
You are putting words and motives in the mouths of companies, that never existed.
Are you even capable of critical thinking, or do you just let words flop out of your mouth like mushy turds without thinking about it?

Maybe - just MAYBE, they haven't been rushing content out because they are 100% PLAYER BACKED and the PLAYERS BACKING THE GAME actually WANT to wait to play the game - hard to believe, I know, we aren't swallowing any ♥♥♥♥ served up to us on a platter of hype... no, we prefer to make the community choice to wait for the game to have more polish before it is shoved into peoples laps - JUST like Skyrim, Fallout 4, Asassin's creed - most of them, battlefield 3 & 4, The Division, and many many MANY other titles notorious for their absolutely inexceusable and unprofessional issues to come from developers of that size - so are you REALLY telling me that your main point to gripe from is that the game is refining itself to focus on QUALITY over grabbing cash out of your pocket?

-Please. Sit down and shut the ♥♥♥♥ up.
Microphobe 30 ABR 2016 a las 2:15
Mr. Miyagi, unless you actually link to the post you are replying to, no one knows what point you are trying to defend or retort.

If your tirade is infact targeted at my comment all I said what that everything you say is theory as one game is being kept secret and one isn't made yet. I also commented on your inability to propose a cogent and civil arguement which I think you proved quite well as, if you were in fact talking to me, have made things up tried to put words into my mouth and used vulgarity and insults to try to lend weight to your arguement.
Microphobe 30 ABR 2016 a las 2:20
So again, you choose to take the position of ignoring what was said and resort to insults and vulgarity. guess the OP was actually correct about the Star Citizen fan base.

Anyone that knows how to read, knows this kid is just a little ♥♥♥♥ troll trying to pull some yarn.
The issue isn't even betwene the games it's just with this little ♥♥♥♥'s blatant lies in order to defend his own purchase by way of defaming another related game for no apparent reason - nothing personal against anyone who buys and enjoys playing No Mans Sky - this isn't a fan war, it's a B u l l S h i t war, and don't let that little kid bull you.
Any argument is better than your utter lack of one all together.

Any info you want - any questions about Star Citizen are on their site and their bajillion news-style youtube videos doccumenting the ENTIRE production/development process. you might have to click a link or two past that one, but its all there... if you really know how to do "research" and arent a total bald faced liar - it's not beyond you, and it is by no means difficult I have faith.

(otherwise you are intentionally obstinate and just trying to cause trouble - so much for the point of over zealous fan-bases)

NMS, E:D, SC. I think we should all agree they're good games in their own right.

SC is by far the most graphically advanced and will likely provide the most unique and value added content upon launch. However, it's expensive and has high system requirements. I've played it somewhat, and couldn't even figure out how to fly a ship, so I gave up. Still, it looks promising and I'm not going to slander a game until I've spent a good few days playing properly. The content quality and polish alone are worth getting a copy, even if other areas fall short (like procedural systems etc).

E:D I've been playing since beta on and off, and it's a fantastic game now (it wasn't at launch) however it still lacks massive amounts of content to keep me entertained. Missions are repetitive and bounty hunting gets old, quickly. Now that Horizons has landed though, it's undoubtedly a more well rounded experience. It's heading now towards being closer to EVE Online, which is no bad thing. By the end of 2016 it will be hard to beat.

NMS looks beautiful, and I've every confidence it will be as entertaining (if not more) than E:D - minus the scientfic accuracy. It's clearly gone for fun over realism, which generally sells a game. The multiplayer aspect is a shame if not delivered on launch day. Still, I think it will offer a better SP experience than the other two games. It just looks less serious, and surely that's a good thing. I think younger gamers will like it.

If you want an example of how NOT to make a game, look at ARK:Evolved.

You have verbally abused me, called me inbred, disabled and a large number of other insults, as well as obsinately refused to actually heed what I have said in any capacity.
Instead you entered into a tirade against someone who simply said we don't have proof of either game to be slinging accusations one way or the other.

I don't know if you have me confused with the original poster but your personal attacks are unwarrented and have only served to prove the OPs position of Star Citizen having a rabid fanbase.

Well, i agree haters will always be there and i agree that the two games are different but...both games have more similarities than just science fiction, i think the reason they wont compete heavily is because no mans sky 2 or 3 will probably be coming out before star citizen is even halfway done, however its my opinion that all games technically compete against one another for the attention and money of the consumer. (I'm excited for No mans sky!)
Yeah, they compete in that people can only play one game at any given moment, but I would never suggest Star Citizen to someone who is looking for a game like No Man's Sky (nor would I suggest No Man's Sky to someone looking for a game like Star Citizen). They both are just very different concepts, in my opinion.

Im interested in both games even tho there different.

If there is one zealous then it's you and with all the trash talk name calling nobody should take you seriously. You should go back to school and ask your parents to learn you some manners and social skills which in my humble opinion you lack.

This reply based on replies i read here from your hand.

I would never come over to forum to defend another game or trash talk this way becouse i like another game more then the competion thats sad if you do so.

Your replies are 100% personal and you don't even realise lol

I played ARK 2300+ hrs :steamhappy:

Baught it around june last year and never regret it 23 euros for 2300+ gameplay thats in my book very succeful game. Also devs who always communicated with fans here on steam hundreds of updates and content.

Yes it runs terible but thats not only fault of wildcard developers also UE4.

I play it with 290x and have around 20-25fps and its very playable(1440p) game looks great and true sandbox.

It's also very succesful game soon after launch top 10 most played game and it never left top 10 it'still selling like icecream on sunny day.
