Been to a lot of planets that are -200ºC, with trees and lakes and flora too...
Since Pluto's temp can reach -223ºC, I thouhgt those planets would be just like it.
Unfortunately, yeah.
And no gas planets also...
I don't think they exist, so I settled for a frozen planet with forrest, as was already described. Sucks that they don't seem to be present though.
Makes zero sense that -200 c planets are able to support life...zero sense. Hoping a patch or mod corrects that procedural discrepancy.
I think the closest thing with ice that you can name is Alderaan lol
We asked for gas planets, water planets, sand planets.. Got none of those!
Ive yet to see sand planet, seen decent water planet which was okay, but still very similar flora to normal worlds.
Yeah that's true lol the environment is about 90% the same. From the trees to even some of the animals.
It does seem like some thought was given into plant life generation as the trees are pine type trees that are common in the tundra. They only seem to be present on frozen planets
Agreed. I've found a "wet planet"....but yet to find a true water planet wit 99% of the planet being covered in water. Those probably don't exist on account of not being able to land on water.
Yeah, I think at least for now (maybe ever?), we won't see water planets and gas planets or anything that you can't land on or has only a small percentage of land, or planets like Pluto that is an icy desert with only a few resources.
I've seen planets like Mars, almost without any flora and no fauna at all, it was nice. But sand planets, as were showed in some footages with Sean actually playing on it, I don't think exist now. And it sucks! I would like to see binary systems as well, but I don't believe we can find one also.
What they could do is take the Spore route and include gad giants, but they will be unable to be landed on. Maybe scanned for resources, but that just seems like a bit of a cop out.
Makes no sense really since most of the planets in our real life galaxy are just balls of gas.
