However I was on a very hostile planet earlier where there seemed to be more hostile (plus it was an extreme planet) creatures than friendly ones which so far there's usually been more passive ones than aggressive. This one antelope looking creature evaded about 5 other creatures and ran off... so I named it Nopelope (or some variation of that.. don't feel like digging through thousands of screen shots or loading the game just to look it up), plus it had another of its kind I named similar). LOLLLL
Hahaha 'Nopelope" - love it! I had just read somewhere that people believed the animals don't attack each other. I was so surprised I got it on video. First time I've seen it. Like you, most of my planets have had a majority of passive and timid creatures. I'm actually looking forward to finding a hostile planet, it'll be another discovery ;)
I had a shark-monster circling an underwater abandoned building, waiting for me to get out. haha. But, I've also been attacked from below (high atop my gigantic ship, or on a huge boulder) like you mentioned. Weird.
There is also Bounty Hunting in the game, I didn't know about that until the other day... I'm nearly up to 40 hours now and keep finding and seeing things I've never seen *__*
yeah, I thought that was strange too, that's why I just kept watching, to see if it did anything aside from hover over it - but, it sure got nasty as soon as it thought I was going after its kill! haha!
Wait, what? Bounty hunting? I'm 100 hours in and don't know about that yet - does it have to do with shooting ships or answering distress signals? I haven't done a lot of that yet, been planet-side or warping most of my time
haha they most certainly do! That one planet looked like Royal Rumble..... there was extreme radiation... no flora but plenty of fauna.. mostly very odd creatures but so many were aggressive compared to other planets and moons I've been on that had creatures.
Shooting ships, sometimes there will be a ship that has a bounty on it and you can go and kill him for payment.
