SMALLEST creature ever found?

I just discovered a creature that was SO SMALL. It looked like it was smaller than most of the particle effects that drift through the air, lol.

I grabbed some screenshots of them to show you all. Anyone found anything just as small/smaller? First couple pictures, theya re kind of hard to see. It's right in front of the plant I was scanning. Second is a bit easier to see it, since it's in front of the dark side of the plant. Third is easiest, I got it as close to my screen as I could.

Yeha, found a mushroom winged butterfly last night. They're immortal it would seem as shooting them did nothing. Took forever to get the scanner to finally pick one up. I dont get why it's so impossible to scan flying creatures.

I found a similar species. They looked like swordfish trying to balance on their "swords" and tended to group up on land. The ones in the water looked like they were trying to beach themselves.

I found another very small flyer. Like others mentioned it was indestructible and it's height/weight made me question the size of the player. They look like small leaves but weigh 23kg and are .46 meters.

Lack of playtesting. Product not ready for release.
I don't think even those most rabid NMS fanatic can argue that is how it is intended to be and yet 'just chill'.
I hate scanning birds (6 worlds 100% though, so going good).
