Oh god I remember that! Agitated Alejandros freak out about how Geoff was not taking him seriously is the stuff of legends. Though to be fair, what did he expect? He was trying to call out the man in charge of the VGA's in public! Dorito Pope knew from day one that the show was staged and was nothing more than an excuse for publishers to shill their games and hype them. So of course when confronted by someone who isn't a "professional" game journo, he would do all he could to make that person look bad.

I think the point of contention here is that the dev apparently said and told the community one thing, but did something else.

Most people who really like this game have only put 15-20 hours into the game. I really liked it, until I did everything you can in it and started seeing the same creatures on different planets. I even started to see the randomly generated names starting to come up a couple times.

Actually we haven't discovered gravity yet. We only speculate it exists due to things falling. Which can be reasonably explained by bouyancy. We invented gravity with no recordable proof, no waveforms or anything that registers on any spectrum what so ever, to fill gaps in science....just like dark matter.

Gravity is simply a name given to an existing phenomenon.

i guess by that argument. the earth is flat and evolution is a myth. too, i guess we are all just floating on the ground o.O

p.s. Weight is litteraly a mesurment of gravity acting on mass.

That can be explained by objects being heavier than the air around them, so they sink or fall. Gravity is a name for a theoretical force yet to be discovered. We theorize it exists due to observations. We cannot actually find it or see it. Just because things fall don't prove gravity.

Like I said we can reasonably explain away objects denser than the air around them falling. We can prove magnetic fields because there are waveforms we can measure. We have nothing for gravity, only a theory, based on assumptions through observations. There are alternative explanations that can be measured and proven.

Which Misinformation would that be? He seemed pretty spot on to me. More so than Sean ever was with his advertisment of the game.
