Atlas Pass v2/v3 rooms (spoilers?)
Did anyone ever find anything interesting behind the Atlas v2/v3 pass locked doors?

I've only found boring workshops, hydroponic gardens and weird Tron-style star system map rooms. All with nothing of interest in them beyond the visual novelty.

There's never anything interesting.

The only things behind v1/v2/v3 doors are "flavor" rooms, often useless, but can sometimes contain items. None of the items are anything you can't live without. Often you find items that you would find anyway in the v1 containers laying about in the world.

Some of them also contain Blueprint Companions or Exosuit Upgrades, though not very often.

480+ jumps here (different galaxy) and my findings are exactly as you described. So far the v1 pass crates are the only thing 'of worth'. The rooms stations and planet side have been the same (less than a dozen types) which is garden or shop or navigation, with carbon/isotope containers and the occasional shield cube.

Yep, they only have the same, routine junk in them. I think I'll give up on them just avoid wasting my time.

Actually v1 was super useful at the start for easy inventory grab instead of looking all over the planets.

Hope in a future patch that u really get rewards, in some way, out of those rooms lol

Thanks guys, I just wanted to hear from others if they'd found anything or heard about something interesting. I guess it's just a whole bunch of nothing much like the rest of the game once you've seen "it all" which doesn't take too many hours.

V1 is cool to get antimatter and rare Warpcells free.

What's "COMPLETELY new" to you, might just be "same old rehashed stuff to me". I've seen tons of planets and while there might still be a set of animal feet or a couple of heads I haven't seen yet the overall patterns is that it's abundantly clear that the pool of pre-modeled assets that gets randomly mixed and matched is very, VERY small for a game that touts incredible diversity.

The number of near identical creatures I've discovered is staggering. It has nothing to do with luck and everything to do with limited assets to mix.

With completely new i mean for example plants i cant compare to anything i saw before on other planets, not just simple re-skined versions of other plants. Just today i discovered a moon that was covered with rivers and not the boring lakes and seas you see normally on a planet!

Tho i see that it "can" get boring pretty easy, and iam just waiting for all the patches that hopefully add the things, that did not make it into the finished game, like pure sand-planets with those big ass worms n stuff and much more :P
