Already discovered planets?!?
So I just jumped to my 3rd System and half the system is already discovered. I go down to one of the planets and 75% of the species are discovered already. I thought we were never suppose to meet anyone let alone run across a discovered planet? I would understand if it was my 1,000 system, but its my 3rd...While I am slightly enjoying it, I am dissappointed about the huge differences we saw in upcoming gameplay trailers and what we got now. Especially when I see animals running in circles for no reason.

I have seen a few systems that have been discovered. It is always comforting to see that there are other people around me :)

So if you find one planet that's discovered, you should be able to jump from system to system right behind that person, since we all have the same jumping capabilities.

That works until you choose to go through a Black Hole. You then end up in a random system closer to the centre. You have to search and press X again to see if another player is near.

As far as I know you can leave messages for other players if you have the recipe to build the message kiosk. You can always leave a message next to an exocar platform (race track) or home base to find the icon from space Or next to a trading post at the end of a space lane. A traveller would then discover it.

The inital galaxy has large swaths that have been discovered. The galaxies past those have less at an exponential rate as most players never transfer. If you want to be the first, change galaxy twice and you should never see another player's leavings again.

This.

If you managed to find yourself in the old hub you will experience this. It's a section of space where a large community mapped everything out. It spans several clusters. Take the free zoology milestones and keep moving, it'll come to an end eventually.
