NMS Servers?

Not sure about this or how the server actually work for this game.

But:

So, some People have stated they were on the same planet on the same spot and they still couldnt see each other. Sean Murray is as of today still vague with his hihi haha eeeeh respones.

Could it just be that the 1 person was logged on server A
and the other person logged on Server B

So they could have been on the same planet on the exact same spot just on different servers?

Do pc/ps4 players play on servers divided by lets say 1000 players (as a example)?
server A 1000 players
server B 1000 players
server C 1000 players
server D etc etc.

So only the players that are on the same server could be able to see each other, and with a galaxy created so massive it will most likely not happen and maybe even explains why the people who have stated to be in the exact same spot on the same planet couldnt see each other?

Maybe the answer has alleady been given and ive missed it, dont know xD.

the online thing is just to share your discovery

You don't play on a server, you play completely locally, so the only way to make multiplayer happen, is to use peer-to-peer.

This is still vague. about whats the Sharing data/discoveries / or the fact that u can see someone. just wanted to know if this in theory could als be the case..

There is one mega server. Everyone host local servers. The mega server takes information from one and blast it out to everyones local server and vice versa.

There is nothing more in the source code that supports multiplayer even slightly. To give you an idea, when you fly in your ship, the only thing that truly exist is your floor, your chair, and your computer in your ship. One you land the entire ship can be seen.

So if multiplayer would be a thing, you'd only be able to see a flying cockpit with an empty chair and a floor.

That shows the actual model when you fly. Also watch the whole thing. Game has been datamine and no netcode has really been found.

Just disable your network while ingame, you can still play, but just can't upload any discoveries.
