I can't reach a destination
Twice now in this game I have gotten a location blip (destination) on my HUD but every time I try to get to it, it always seems to be out of reach. The distance (or whatever form of measurement is being used) flucuates and I can never get to it. Most recently it is a 'crashed ship'

Is this a glitch or something else?

I finally got all the discoveries on this planet so at least I have that.

Thanks in advance

Generating bug, happens about once in seven. If you go into orbit and use the pulse engine to fly over it you can reach it. Just drop out of hyper speed when you believe the target is close to being under your ship then dive right at it.

I think it has something to do with flying within the outter limits of the planet's atmosphere. If you fly into orbit, get closer and then reenter the planet atmosphere you'll get there.

The destination is on the other side of the planet, but the "time to destination" is probably calculated as a linear line. So you have to leave the atmosphere and come back like the other guys above suggested.

That totally makes sense. Remember. The game doesn't really explain things. Figuring out the game is part of the game.
