Controls for crafting

This might be a stupid question, but which key do you use to craft things? I'm trying every key and none of them seem to bring up the menu for crafting.

You need an empty slot then press e.

left click on empty slot to craft upgrade techs... like increasing your shields or jetpacks. Or e to craft other stuff like a bypass chip or warp fuel.

If you want to craft the ship upgrades you ahve to be in ship inventory and left click on empty slot. or upgrades for your multitool left click on empty slot in your multitool inventory
