Sean Murray DID confirmed the game had no multiplayer...

...and one day before release.

EDIT: not only he himself told the world there would not be any multiplayer, but the product box on PS4 DOES NOT contain the multiplayer tag that accompany all games that feature multiplayer.

Nor does the game's Steam store page list any "Multiplayer" on it's list of features.

If you bought this product because of the multiplayer, it's your OWN fault for not looking at the FINAL product features AND for relying on information they said 2-3 years ago, when obviously the game was being developed and subjected to change.

What the hell difference does it make? The game is out and there's no multiplayer. If that bothers you then don't buy the game or get a refund if you did buy it. Move on to something else. There's no point in going on and on about this. NMS doesn't have multiplayer. All the crying and whining in the world isn't going to change that.

You can shove your 12 years old crap. You don't have to be a fanboy to know that there are a lot of people on these forums causing trouble and spreading lies. How many threads do we have to see about Sean lied? Or a class action suit that isn't going to go anywhere? Or how the game doesn't do this or do that when it actually does? It's as if you some of you people think just because you don't like the game that everybody has to hate it. That is a 12 year old mentality. Reasonable people who don't like the game get a refund and move on to something else. They don't talk about lawsuits or who lied or expect everybody to hate the game just because they do? If speaking out against that makes me a fanboy then so be it. I happen to like the game. Not to the point that I'm going to attack anybody who doesn't like it but I will speak up about some of the idiotic things taking place on the forums.

But it's nowhere to be found. As for people having problems with the game that's normal. Every new release has problems. You either deal with it or wait to buy until all the bugs and glitches are worked out. That's still not fanboyism. It's just plain, common sense.

Very unlikely but how about something like 'Sega to tentatively pay out $1.25M in Aliens suit. Oh, that had something to do with E3 demo videos, imagine!!

Funny thing is I remember people using the same kind of arguments then as you are doing now.

At the end of the day, it does not matter and no-one can tell the final outcome of this whole mess, not even you or me.

But you do read like a fanboy and fanboys are usually in denial and single sided in their views.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

P.S. I love the game too, it is fun, already installed some mods, played around with the settings, love the caves and some of the terrains are real cool.

But I am not so attached to it that I cannot step back and see it's shortcoming. Every game in the world has some shortcoming and NMS is no different. I took off my rose-colored glasses ages ago and found it refreshing.

Dude some of those videos were less than 4 months old . . . . he tweeted the day before release to make "clarifications" meanwhile he had countless videos describing a game showing footage of a copy that didn't exist. At some point he had a product and he could have made various clarifications so users knew what they we're getting into but he stood silent and we had to do the digging ourselves.

Also I'm aware of you using misinformation and trying to minimize the situation by making the statements Sean made seem as if they were distant memories and not comments made a few months ago.
