what have i missed! when has a PlayStation game EVER had a save file that can play on pc and a sony console?
It will lag/stutter with only 4GB, you also don't need more than 16GB of RAM for games, not even more than 8 I would say.
I don't konw your particular situation, but it seems to me that putting 500 into your computer would probably be a better investment than buying a new game system. However, since I don't know your comp specs I can't really say.
There seems to be a problem with the capped framerate for a lot of people. If I put mine to 60 in game options. It ran awful. Like really really terrible. If I lowered to 30 it managed about 22-26fps and just stayed there never going higher. But someone told me to put triple buffering on in nvidia control panel and then cap the framerate in game options to 90. Did that and it now never leaves 60. but more importantly, none of that stuttering crap like before. Maybe this will help someone that doesn't know. As it drove me insane for the first few hours.
MMOs do it often. A lot of the free to play MMOs especially share accounts with PC and PS4. Android games sometimes do this with PC as well.
And while not done with PC, Nintendo 3DS and Wii-U games can share save game data between the different copies if you own the same game on both systems.
