"There's NOTHING to DO in No Man's Sky!!"
http://imgur.com/a/OlKxE

I was wandering around the official website for http://www.no-mans-sky.com/ and I came across this at the bottom of the News page. I see so much hate for people that expected so much more than was ever promised in this game, and it breaks my heart, because I personally love this game to its core.

Its not a AAA title, its an Indie game, from an Indie company, that a specific dream that they accomplished. And its going to keep getting better with updates that bring more and more things to do!

So for the people that say they're "stuck" with this game that they hate, maybe just put it down and come back to it later. Because I, for one, am super excited to see what they do.

EDIT "But they lied about multiplayer!!!": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE0nuW-mQ8A
"Yes, but the chances of you running into another person are highly unlikely".
Can you? Yes. Are you going to meet up? Probably not. You are all playing in the same universe, but even if you land on the same planet, the chances that you will find each other on an Earth sized planet is astronimcal.

But the point is that you can, if you spent the time finding each other.

It's being sold for a AAA price, and you yourself say it's not a AAA game. That's problem number one right there. Stop making excuses for the developer.

Yes its overpriced, but you're also getting 18 quintilion planets to explore and unlike AAA games that sell you extra content for $20 per DLC, this game is going to be updated for free. Look at Elite: Dangerous, that gave a buggy planet landing DLC for a ♥♥♥♥ ton extra cash. Its a price that matches their dedication to giving you, the consumer, more content through its lifetime.

But its going to be half the game this will be by the end. Elite: Dangerous asks you to spend so. Much. Money. For what? Big updates that add more content.
And No Man's Sky is going to give you all of that for free. Because you trusted in them and paid the $66.

It was already game of the year before it was launched. You need that hype to be real, don't you? It's going to have all this stuff. There's no evidence of that, but it's totes happening, right? Because the developer has been so open and honest about the game, right?

If you think they haven't been honest, then you've been lookig in the wrong direction. Read their website, and you will see that the reason so many people are disappointed with this game is because it isn't what THEY wanted it to be. But it is exactly what Hello Games wanted it to be. And you can't say "Well then its bad" when its what they said they wanted to do all along.

Sorry I questioned your religion. No matter what happens, your brain will never let you question them, will it?

They also said you could play with your friends. We've established that they lied.

"For people who aren't worshipping this game - leave" is pretty much what you are saying.

Now if this was Early Access, I doubt you'd see as many complaints, but for HG to claim this is a AAA game, well, that's one of many issues.

I just have more faith in a company that goes this far to release a niche game because its the dream they've had for five years. They knew it wasn't for everyone, they knew it wasn't going to be what you wanted, but they spent 5 years working on it anyways.

Yeah, I have faith in them.
