Got pass logo. saw few stars flying around with names and then exited to desktop without my com heating OR with a error log. It does not even say that it exited because of my card.

I doubt it. I have an r7 360 and can only run this game at 20-30 fps. The r7 360 ran last years games at medium-high-ultra mix at 1080p 30-60fps. Makes no sense.

My 960M can play it between 20-30 on low settings. Even when intel cards start working I really doubt the HD-4000 is going to be able to pull 30, if its even playable at all. Sorry man.
I could get alot from my old HD-4000, usually had to find work arounds but finally got myself a newer computer with a 970m and am pulling over 60fps until after about 3 hrs lol... like I said in my review. Maybe the HD-4000 will be able to play if someone finds a fix, but because of the OpenGL 4.5 it will be hard.

Not supported because the game needs Open GL 4.5 which none of Intel's iGPUs have.

Solution for intel GPU
because of the openGL 4.5 requirements , i searched for a way to pass the opengl version check.

i found the tool that did exactly what we need , GLIntercept

Download and install GLIntercept “x64” to programfiles {LINK REMOVED}

Copy OpenGL32.dll from GLIntercept installation folder to the game binaries folder

Download this config file for GLIntercept {LINK REMOVED}

Copy the ini file downloaded to the binaries folder for the game

i edited it myself to disable logging and adding all opengl extensions and override opengl version to 4.5 & shader version language also to 4.5

Edit : Formatting and clearer steps

EDIT2 : please make sure that the installion path for GLIntercept is C:\Program Files\GLInterceptx64_1_3_3\ or change the ini manually to different location

ENJOY !

There's no such thing as an "Intel card" (discrete card). All Intel graphics are integrated with the CPU. Integrated graphics (ie. notebook) are not meant for anything other than casual gaming.

I did not mention that there is such an animal as a discrete (has it's own RAM) intel card, being that they have only ever created integrated cards (use system RAM).

OP it will not work even with the above linked work around.
Your graphics are many, many times less powerful than the minimum GPU requirements.
Example the Intel hd4000 reaches a max of 20 GFLOPS the GTX 480 is 1,345 GFLOPS and this is the minimum GPU!
