I spent the night getting getting Windows 10 ready on a Bootcamp partition, installing Steam, etc.
Played NMS today (launch day) and got an ABYSMAL stuttering frame-rate (even in the starfield at the beginning). Turned down all the settings, switched off anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering, low textures, switched the res to 1280x800, and still have a stuttering framerate. It's not like it's skipping frames, it's like the game is in slow motion... Pulling out the multi-tool of flipping through the interface is painful...

I realize it's a mobile GPU, but in my Mac partition, I play games like Alien Isolation on highest settings with a super smooth frame-rate, and those games are doing ambient occlusion, soft shadows, volumetric fog, etc... compared to which NMS looks like a previous-gen game...
