How does one accept an opinion as a fact? Especially when discussing something that is subjective. There is no fact regarding whether NMS is a good game or a bad game. It is one thing to listen to, and weigh the opinion of another person, to gain insight, I wouldn't go as far as to say more knowledgable. If say... tomorrow or a few days from now TotalBiscuit does a review and his perspective is absolutely glowing! How many will shift their 'opinions'? Part of the problem is the lack of an individual to think for one's self, a lack of identity; allowing YouTube videos made by popular people to dictate what is or what isn't good, cool, whichever.

To say that anyone who pays $60 for NMS lacks intelligence is simply foolish! Said argument has no ground, or merit, and has nothing to do with intelligence. We like what we like. We're entitled to our opinion that certain hobbies are foolish. I find dropping hundreds of dollars for a deep sea pole and reel to be absurd! I do not, however presume to insult the man who enjoys said hobby.

Someone with sound logic behind them. ^ this is the guy to debate with.

Anyways, I cant really think of an argument against this, I actually completely agree with you and feel like an ass... I just get so overlly pissed about games like this, I see so much potiential and it doesn't take the leap and then people are all over it. I've had this whole opinion about no mans sky before the game became a hype train over the internet. Dunkey voiced my same opinion, which I treat as fact. but its not, I just personally think this game is a waste of time and money and is one of the key reasons why games are so lackluster these days because people support half assed products with little to no content. Maybe it's not really half assed, maybe these guys poured thier heart into it and this is thier deam game. All I know as a fact is this game will never be for me, and i should of never have came here trying to voice my opinion and argue it as fact.. bascially i should stick to what i always do and not give a ♥♥♥♥.

The matter of opinions aside, it's kind of silly how tons of private profile "people" keep saying stuff like "100% accurate" or "it's junk".

Research? I am following it for like 2 years now (or whenever they first announced it). I did follow every single interview of Sean, but I did caught some contradictions in his statements.
Well, who knows what went wrong with his information, but it doesn't matter. What counts is the game. However, what doesn't count for me are opinions of some random PS4 players.
Your point would have a tiny bit value if we'd be talking about the PC version at least. But just a tiny.

Anyway, what I am certainly defending is my own opinion (unlike you, who defends the opinion of others, a perfect example for a religious follower). Why wouldn't I? It's perfectly reasonable. I am not saying the game is good or bad, how could I? I didn't play it yet. But refusing the very game just because others weren't happy with it is laughable, hardly a bad joke.

I've actually been refusing this game since before it gained momentum over the internet, i thought to myself "this game is gonna be a boring grind with no content and a bunch of planets that will have the same features of others and eventually after a few hours it'll be boring" Honestly insulting you was the worst course of action i could of took in this whole argument, in fact the argument itself was rather pointless. why am i here? cause im an idiot arguing opinions with others wasting my time when i could be playing a game. i like dunkeys video simply because he was the first person to express my exact opinion of the game, the one i had been talking with my friends about for months whenever the game came up... but what i think doesn't matter, people do what they want and I really shouldn't care.

I'd recommend you to educate yourself for once.
"Private" isn't limited to a single person. Your profile can only be seen by yourself and the people on your friends list. This is also a definition of private, as only a certain group has access to it.
But hey, instead of learning some basic things, out of frustration let's just lash out at other people's preferences (no, limiting the access to your profile doesn't count as preference as there's no reason to unless you feel like some important pleb with supposedly tons of stalkers). Not that I your opinion or your very existence matters to me anyway.

So... a guy i never heard of makes a video about personal opinions about NMS. He doesnt like it and calls it a piece of ♥♥♥♥. Fine, he doesnt like it but this doesnt mean the game is bad in general.
...i cant even take him seriously since you can easily hear how butthurt he is, clearly showing off the game didnt offer to him what he expected.
