How big are planets in No Man's Sky?
So the universe is really really big...but how big or small are planets in this game?

Extremely big...

planet sized but a single biome with outposts dotted every couple of hundred meters in every direction, no poles, no mountains, no oceans.

You can find planets with oceans, I've seen footage.

They are big but there is nothing to discover

Saw one walking straight one direction for 2 hours, no end in sight^^

You do know planets are round right, did expect to find the edge of the planet? :)

Some people say they are planet sized and some say something like 78 square miles or it takes 1-2 days to walk one way around. So which of those? Planet sized would mean it would take months of walking, of course depending on the size of the planet. Elite Dangerous has realistic planet sizes for example, but is it true for NMS? I don't care that much myself, but the answers in this thread are all over the place and everyone claims something different.

I imagine they would come in multiple sizes. Because, you know, space and all that.

Yeah of course, but there is a difference between a realistic size (earth is 169 MILLION square miles) or 78 square miles as someone said. A realistic size for a habitable planet would probably be between 2500 and 6000 mile radius. Certainly something you can't walk around in a few days.
