Why is everyone jumping to conclusions?

The game has been out for one day, I mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol. Sean already said on twitter he did not expect so many people to log on the game. I wouldnt consider my self a strong fan boy or anything, but from what ive seen of sean, is that he seems like a good dude. What im guessing is the servers were having issues.

I mean honestly though we see one mess up in the servers and people are like ♥♥♥♥ SEAN HES A LIEING PIECE OF ♥♥♥♥! GATHER THE MOB, LIGHT THE TORCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously - so far, everything Ive seen of the game (and Ive played it on PS4) is exactly what I expected it to be from all the research Ive personally done and info Ive read. I do not understand why it seems SO many other people were expecting SO much more. I dont know where they pulled all these expectations from.

People love to complain and get angry over things. No Man's Sky could be the world's most amazing game ever created and people would still find things to complain about.

You can either ignore the angry little bottommunchers or use them for entertainement. Most of them get annoying after a while but you can always count on a new douchenozzle to show up and take their place.

I find some of the reactions to be quite ridiculous. Personally, I'm willing to allow them to fix the server load issues they're having before jumping to the conclusion that he's been lying to everyone repeatedly for the past two years.

I mean, that's what it boils down to. He has said from the start that players will be able to see other players. He's said it in so many different ways that it's really difficult to imagine anyone living under a rock so big as to not be aware of this by now.

So when players test it out and it doesn't work as described, you can come to one of two conclusions:

A) Something isn't working right.
B) Sean lied repeatedly over the course of two years.

Now, this isn't my first rodeo with the launch of an online game; I'm used to $#!t happening and things not working properly right out the gate. It's unfortunate, but it happens enough that it's pleasantly surprising when it doesn't happen as often. So, because I'm a fairly rational person I'm ready to assume that something isn't working correctly. And to listen to Sean's recent tweets it sounds like they were unprepared for the load that's been on their servers since launch.

Other people are instead assuming he's lied repeatedly over the course of two years. OK.. seems like literally the worst case scenario to dream up, and it makes me not want to be stuck in a real crisis with any of those people, but it's their opinion and they're welcome to it. Just be prepared to own it either way.
