Wait until the drama queens are finished and for the scores to settle down, then it'll give a more accurate picture.
That is not necessarily the case. When I was little I didn't really even know that 'reviews' were a thing, I just went to the store with whatever my parents gave me and bought a game that 'looked cool'. I ended up buying some of my favorite and some games that I don't really remember.
But the point is, I enjoyed games that way until I started visiting english sites, cause spanish review magazines are ♥♥♥♥, I tell you. I am sure there are many people with similar experiences.
Not sure I could trust a review by someone that scores Uncharted 4 2/10
Sadly Metacritic (or any other site that uses user scores) is open to abuse both by low and high scorers either who have not played the game or just want to push ratings up/down for no reason.
I rate those reviews a 5/10
From what i've seen its exactly what was promissed, nothing more, nothing less.
If people bought it they should know what it was before throwing money at it expecting it to be something different. Can't wait to try it myself.
I see lots of journalists giving good first impressions. N4G.com has lots of articles on it.
