Convince me why I should cancel my PS4 online preorder for the PC version..

Just lookin for people who dont mind helping talking me through this :D

I don't wanna be in a situation where I have the ps4 version and months later theres all these crazy mods (Think GTA V here) and Im like wtf...I wish I got the PC version.

I got the PS4 version because it was $50 with amazon and I know a lot of my PSN friends are getting it if that makes the experience worthwhile... Thing is these devs dont say anything concrete so its hard for people like me to pick >_<

Would appreciate your thoughts everyone :)

In nutshell:::::::::::::::::::

PS4 pros:
- Many psn friends are getting it (doesnt matter afiak otherthan party chatting with them)
- $10 cheaper ($50)
- PS4 comfy controller

PC Pros:
- More chance at getting a FOV slider....
- Some stupid possible chance of crazy good mods on the scale that GTA V had ( Trying to think of worthwhile mods but in general heres a sublist that would tempt me)
- Ability to use good mic and camera for streaming/recording
++ Game mode mods, Graphical enhancement to Elite dangerous or star citizen level, animals, vehicles, weapons.

PC Pros are not gaurrentee afiak..... see...I hate this guessing game...

Edit: Thanks to Kena and JaredBanKks I've decided to stick with PS4 version because:
1. I realise Hello Games seems so adimated about their vision for NMS and dissing a lot of the communitys multiplayer vision, why would they gaf about Mods!?! Mods on PC seems unlikely...
2. These people cant be that silly to not put a POV slider in either version and not to the same for the other...

Took some discussion but I thinkIm settled with PS4 now :) I hope this thread helps others like myself. I still am PC + PlayStation Master Race tho, why u think Im on Steam? ;D

Get it for PS4 as I am guessing that is your first preference. Don't get it on PC based on what 'might' happen. You will be able to get a sale on the PC version later.

Honestly it's whatever platform you enjoy using more, but if you want some reasons:

You can still use your PS4 controller to play PC verison. You'll need to download something called DS4 that allows you to do so, here's a link to offical site if you're interested: http://ds4windows.com/ Works pretty well Imo.

As you said before, yes there is possible mod support in the future that can help extend the life of the game for some people.

PC may also end up having better graphics options since it wouldn't be locked to PS4 settings.

I have a PS4 but i bought it on PC because u get much more precision with mouse than a controller

And because if my kids want to watch Tv while i play They can cuz it's my computer not the living room TV

And i doubt if there Will be mods but yea same situation as You i have GTAV on my ps4 and instantly regretted it once i saw all of the mods for it

So if u ask me to choose for You i'd say PC

PS4 gets POV slider?

Sony helped with the game so either version,but that doesnt even affect my game experience...actually it kinda does since both versions are getting many patches/updates after the release date. Bring on dat funding :D

The graphics on ps4 look fine, only worthwhile improvement I see is if they went elite dangerous or star citizen level.

Guess mod support and the types of mods is the main thing :o

I cancelled my PC pre-order twice few months ago. I wasn't going to get NMS at all. Then last Friday I changed my mind and pre-ordered the console version instead.. comfort and big screen won me over to console version. However they both have pros/cons so do what pleases you the most!
