From the recent Leaked Spolier, we found out that the game uses the well called HAVOK engine.
Familiar? Bioshock, Metal Gear Rising, Assassins Creed?
All high performance, good optimization.
This means that people with Wooden PC's can run the game too!

Really the title should be HAVOC Physics Engine Confirmed. Given the HAVOC is a very common piece of physics middleware, I am not surprised they would use it instead of tryiong to build a brand new physics engine from scratch.

they built it from scratch.

Havok? used in 2011 for Test Drive Unlimited 2. hmmm, that's pretty old.
