Calling a ship
How can you call a ship to your current location when it requires more launch fuel than it can hold. I've had this happen a few times in my new survival save. I've got a little over 100 hours in the save. I either have to walk back to the ship or call one of my other ships in .https://i.imgur.com/mddI695.jpg

have you checked off the usual suspects...
have you tried save->reloading when that happens? (i know...switch it off then on again Lol)
have you verified the integrity of the gamefiles in steam?
if you're using mods, have you tried disabling them to see if that solves it?

Something is def amiss. It should only require 100% (when playing at max difficulty).

Regardless; in the hundreds of hours I have in 4.0 I think I’ve called my ship twice. I more often than not use a landing pad or stalk & summon it or of course just walk back.

As close to the original way as possible, the days of making bypass chips. Nav-data are still pretty common enough, at least they're less common than they were.

That was when I finished a nexus mission and was calling my ship to leave so I couldn't save and reload. That's a game message. Wouldn't that have to be programmed into the game or does the game just come up with random numbers? I don't use mods.

I had this same thing happen one time. The thrusters were full and it told me it needed 101%....
It hasn't happened again since though (thankfully).

I have this vision of OP walking through the desert with a gas can....and the vultures are circling.:steamhappy::cozyhoi4eagle:

Instead of a gas can make that a fuel tank extension so the tank can be overfilled to satisfy the ships insatiable lust for launch fuel.

I'd move your launch thrusters and mods to a different location. I'd also "uninstall" related mods (package them up to reinstall). Make a save and reload then try your ship with no mods and then reinstall them.

It should only require 100% even at max difficulty, so that is definitely a bug. I would recommend sending in that screenshot to Hello Games' support desk. I'll post it for you here.

I reported a bug. I posted it here to see if I could find out why it was doing it. Apparently a bug.

I've only had it happen a couple of times.
