I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been

I've never heard that song before...
Lyrics snippet:
The space between the systems,
The space between you and me .
That star that's in the distance,
It's disappearance never seen.
That light that holds existence,
Turns our nights into our days.
The light within the systems
The light in that shines
So vast of it's consistence
Our life an instant in it's time.

Song starts at 51:49
Set the Controls for the Heart of the SUN.
Is this the edge of the world?
We chased the horizon down 'til it hung beneath our feet.
Now I'm drifting blind. All I know is we can't move closer.
I've never seen the lights of the north,
The constellations are so unfamiliar.
We followed far, as far as this machinery takes us,
To some imaginary place where the compass shifts
And our lips drift to our cheeks.
Is this the edge of the world? All I know is we can't move closer.
Searching for some apparent place where floated needles decide the way.
I'd dig in my heels but I might crack the ice.
Give me some solid ground.
The frost is sinking in, in my cheeks, in my chest, in my fingertips.
'Desperation,' we name every cape beyond the last.
Frozen senseless. Every day is a winter solstice.
The view's a wonder, but I can't take it in...
it has no actual story to the song, but the writer uses strong themese of scifi, fantasy, vivid colors, elements and senses.
its a very sorta 60's prog rock, kinda early pre metal type of song.
overall i feel like, much like NMS, its a song that uses, color and themes to ignite your imagination, without actually telling a specific story.
it kind of reminds me of the end of blade runner too, as rutger hauers character is dying, and describing the incredible things he's witnessed.

the band saxon did an awesome, more metal cover that i really like also.
it has awesome lyrics too:
The rusted chains of prison moons
Are shattered by the sun.
I walk a road, horizons change
The tournament's begun.
The purple piper plays his tune,
The choir softly sing;
Three lullabies in an ancient tongue,
For the court of the crimson king.
The keeper of the city keys
Puts shutters on the dreams.
I wait outside the pilgrim's door
With insufficient schemes.
The black queen chants the funeral march,
The cracked brass bells will ring;
To summon back the fire witch
To the court of the crimson king.
The gardener plants an evergreen
Whilst trampling on a flower.
I chase the wind of a prism ship
To taste the sweet and sour.
The pattern juggler lifts his hand;
The orchestra begin;
As slowly turns the grinding wheel
In the court of the crimson king.
On soft grey mornings widows cry,
The wise men share a joke.
I run to grasp divining signs
To satisfy the hoax.
The yellow jester does not play
But gently pulls the strings
And smiles as the puppets dance
In the court of the crimson king.
