SPACE WHALES THEORY (i kinda got ahead of myself with this)

What if the Atlas is EXTREMELY big, and it's home to the only colony of space whales in the universe and they keep a giant database of the universe and we are robots built by space whale scientists and we are programmed to not know anything about the universe around us and our AI's make us want to discover stuff and upload them to the atlas for the highly intelligent space whales?

They're not really a thing in the game (I think), it's just something some people like talking about. Some sci-fi has whale like creatures that can live in space.

they could be a thing! dont let the naysayers fool you, they may not be the space whales you expects, but there could be plenty of whale looking animals. I dont suspect youll be able to pilot them though XD
