"Fixed an issue that could scramble information important to modders."
Please. It's the little things. Just pay attention to it and take some time to improve the VR version. Or do we have to wait for the PSVR 2 release for that? Or will the gameplay on PSVR 2 without the limitations of PSVR 1 still remain confined to 180 degree seated mode?
I want to play No Man's Sky freely in VR. Free to spin and go in any direction without constantly aligning the HUD to my direction... because a lot of things are tied to that direction, the shield, the jet jump, the various effect sprites are aimed towards the HUD and not on the direction of looking. Please.
I hope that one day the developers will hear.... 😢
And for so few fixes this time, the update sure is large.
This has been really annoying, the game basically leaks 200 MB of VRAM with every alt-tab when FSR 2 is on, and eventually slows down to a crawl and crashes.
Took me a while to figure out what is happening. Hope it is resolved and now I can alt-tab as many times as I need without having to restart the game.
Ill be stoked if they just bring back the previous Expeditions like last year around this time that I missed! If they come out with a new expedition after that Id be putting in more time in NMS again that at work lol
Thank you.
You can actually check for Expeditions in each new update build. File you want to look at is called SEASON_DATA_CACHE.JSON. It opens with Notepad. Right up at the top the current one says "SeasonId":12,. This would be Polestar, still. (Seasons 5-8 were the reruns last year). So, when you get pushed a file with 13 in it, you'll know that there's an Expedition either coming or already on. That file is on your C: drive, one level down from the directory with all your savegames... were you interested in making manual backups while you're there.
So great to see you're always ironing out issues, and developing new things.
