The only thing I would wish in regards to those: Actual use for basalt - whole planets dedicated to basalt and just a use for one single tech that isn't even mandatory for anything? I could imagine it as some prerequisite for building. Pure ferrite, mixed with basalt to build basic stone structures or whatever.
Could elevate those planets into useful ones, besides their good looks.
In addition, any mission objective where you must fly to a marked location or interact with an object, from my experience, 94.782% of the time it is blocked by the jury-rigged volcano generation that places the 3D mesh over top after the planet is generated thus ensuring at least 40% of POI's are blocked.
Note: those percentages are completely made up and represent my personal frustration with Volcano planets. YMMV
Started in Eissentam and despite hitting lots of red stars along with others, found only one volcanic planet in 2+ recharges of hyperdrive ... and it was phosphorus.
Went back to Calypso and after a half dozen or so systems found an absolutely awful volcanic world pretty much on fire everywhere but it finally had the basalt. Dropped some solar cells, batteries, extractor, depot, landing pad, teleporter, made a little hut, got the hell out. Maybe I won't have to go back which would be fine.
