It's worth its full price or even more.
If you like the game.
If not then there is no need to buy it at all. Not even gifted would be enough for it.
...and all updates are FFREE (and no micro-transactions)
EDIT: over 2200hrs and still going strong...best value-for-money game i've ever bought
(@Kobs can i have ur stuff if you ever get bored enuf to rage quit?)
It come a long way since the first release.
Btw, paying for more than the retail price is a dumb move. Don't do that.
I thought, eventually, it should go on sale for -90%. But no. Never happened.
I bought NMS 3 days ago for -50%. With recent updates, I think it will not be cheaper.
There are new player guides on youtube that will help you.
I deleted my first character and made a second character after watching some videos.
I got my S class starship from the third ship I talked to at the outpost near my base,
and it has a nice cockpit view, and cost only 1.5 million.
I got lucky and stumbled upon a crashed starship with many upgrades, that I salvaged for 4-5 mil, which helped me to buy the starship I wanted.
Now, I am collecting eggs on the planet where the eggs spawn (in the beginning).
I was flying and accidentally found another site with eggs.
I also mined a ton of gold and platinum which was orbiting my home planet.
My second character is doing so much better than my first.
The fact that the developer keeps updating it regularly says a lot about HELLO GAMES...and that means as time goes on the value return on this game continues to go up. Buying it at 50% is steal if you get in to exploring and chasing rabbit trails.
I'm concidering buying this on the PS4 even though I will likely not play it on there just so I can give these guys some more. This kind of behaviour deserves to be rewarded in my opinion.
What the ♥♥♥♥...
Alright, kids. Don't be this guy. Capitalism is cool, but don't succumb to bad consumerism.
