Is it impossible to get visceral synthesizer if you started NMS after Exp-4?

So I was messing around on a worm planet and this weird egg thing called vile spawn appeared. It says I need "visceral synthesizer". I googled it and its an award for an expedition that came out way before i started NMS. Is there any other way to obtain this item?

they have re-run the expeditions this year, maybe they will do it again. personally i think at this point they should now be a new game option all the time now.

Agreed I haven't been able to play properly for like a year because my GPU is failing. Missing most of the expeditions tried it again over the last few days to at least check out the new freighter stuff. but it's crashing so much actual plying is impossible.

Check the No Mans Sky Nexus page for mods. Might be able to find something there. Not a big fan of the FOMO events they like to run especially with how many bugs I encounter during the events, but it does get people playing.

well they added the worms so the should of added that maybe they just missed it
no point waiting for that expedition to come around again if you cant use in ya main saves

dunno whats was inside but i remember the cursed dust was part of that expedition so could be that?

Yes, there is a mod that lets you unlock all/most of the stuff with a single button press but personally, I would prefer to earn it.
