Yes. But you can still use the old color pallet on new and new pallet on old. Deleting and replacing is still the easy part.
Why should HG invest money and time in implementing something when there is already a way to do it without any real hassle? Just because you call it a bug, when others don't call it that?
This won't happen.
Working around a situation is not an exploit. It's another option. Send a report if you just want to file a complaint. We're just gamers trying to help other gamers. You're welcome!
And it is lovely that gamers help other gamers in this forum, but HG maybe needs to become a more responsive company which is a legit complaint. Tho complaining here and not directly to them is probably a waste of time. My bad.
This is one of the reasons to keep an old save going or rather use the save editor if you really want to start afresh but do not want to loose old blueprints that were removed.
I guess it maybe challenging for them to maintain compatibility. There are dedicated players who still have Day 1 saves.
I never asked for anything to be dropped. Only to have the new colours extended to existing furnishings.
People in here are really getting their knickers in a knot over someone praising and update and asking for some continuity with a properly implemented game mechanic instead of having to rely on an unintended BUG.
A BUG is not a solution and if it is left as a solution, it’s sloppy design
As per instructed above. I have instructed above. Gee... I wonder why too.
It's just you who calls this a bug. You could call it a car and it wouldn't be one, yet.
This feature does exist for years: Swapping pallets for legacy and new building parts. It got never changed by HG - one of the reasons might be because it's a simple thing to do. Which everyone can do. Without breaking anything. A nice, simple solution to enable legacy pallet and new pallet side by side.
Would it be more easy to enable both pallets in one place without swapping? Sure. Would it be more easy to implement this? Well, that's the question. Are there more serious things to fix or change in this game. Absolutely.
Why wasting time with this, then?
