How do you get more super charged slots on a ship that doesnt have anymore spaces to unlock?
I bought a really cool looking C class fighter ship from a rando NPC and it had all the tech slots maxed out except for 1 space. It has 1 supercharged slot on it. I have read that ships can get 3 supercharged slots. How do I do this if it came with only 1 slot left?

C class ship will have 1 superslot, every higher class 1 more up to 4 for S-Class. These superslots are randomly distributed among all possible slots, also those which you didn't unlock yet, to see all of them you will have to unlock the slots until you get all possible.

i wonder if the save editor from goat fungus could be used to increase the number of supercharge slots. although then talk about OP lol.

until supercharged slots come out of experimental and into the regular build, goatfungus probably won't add anything regarding supercharged slots. As of right now the editor shows all slots, but doesn't denote which ones are supercharged, nor is there any way to un-supercharge or supercharge slots so you can't add or move them around. Who knows how things will play out. It's even still possible at this point that supercharged slots never make it out of experimental. It wouldn't be the first time something was tested there but then cancelled later. I suspect they're here to stay though.

As of right now the editor shows all slots, but doesn't denote which ones are supercharged, nor is there any way to un-supercharge or supercharge slots so you can't add or move them around. yeah they have made their way to the stable build of nms. since i run mods i dont use experimental

it can but it currently requires manual editing of the raw JSON and understanding the coordinate/cell system used... i've seen a post somewhere where someone made all 60 of their tech slots supercharged slots ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

they've been available since the 4.04 patch was released a week or so ago ;)

i think increasing the rank of your ship adds an additional supercharge slot, so rank c with one supercharge slot, making it rank b would add another one. not sure about that though

you are correct... C Class has 1, B-Class has 2, A-Class has 3, and S-Class has 4... they are randomly placed and this goes for everything that has C-S Classes... exosuit has 3 and they appear to be in the same places all the time...

I noticed on my MT and ships all of the super slots are in the top half of the tech section. That's probably deliberate.

yeah... i think so, too, krash... probably so we don't lose track of them... probably also to try to prevent complaints of not seeing them when someone doesn't notice the ones down on rows 4-6...

Right, randomly set in the first 30 slots (wether active or not) - not in all possible slots like I said in my first response. I also watched videos that confirm this, a guy was trying this out in detail.

ahh, i stand corrected. I incorrectly assumed that since there hadn't been a goatfungus update that it hadn't come out of experimental. My bad.

Goatfungus mentioned he needs some time to figure out how to update the save editor properly this time, apparently 4.0 introduced some drastic changes in how things work.
