We need a Some People's Sky
A game like NMS but no aliens, just people, or maybe both. It's a big sky, plenty of room for including the human race.

Hello Games can change the lore any time they want...why not this, add humans to one planet in one system in a galaxy of their choosing, the planet was destroyed by Sentinels leaving behind a few settlements and mostly ruined sites, the humans can be in space suits with a faceless helmet just like the player, this could be the origin of the players consciousness, throughout the game the players character makes references to "my people"
"the language of my people" and so forth so why can't human civilization have existed at some point as an erroneous anomaly destroyed by the Sentinels? HG could release this as a mission that can only be taken after completing the main quest and being gifted with remembrance. Sounds like a good time to me.

There is a lore reason why humans do not exist in the NMS universe.

Is this one of those WOKE moments. OP is not woke to the whole NMS thing. That is okay, I am usually half asleep at the helm.

You mean EVE Online, that free game that already exists and you can play?

This game kinda reminds me of the original Doom. I used to play it like crazy, but after a while I started to get depressed, cos there were no sign of any living humans. I don't mean multiplayer guys, just NPC Humans of the world. Where were they all? Was I the only Human Being left?
That's kinda lonely.

It would definitely be nice to have a fledging group of survivor humans that have made it into the NMS universe in small numbers that we meet every now and then randomly. Maybe we could even get a friend/follower of our own kind? I always consider myself a lost human while in NMS... The ONLY lost human, which is rather lonely.

You should make this a suggestion in Hello games suggestion box. I will too.

Totally agree. People need to play the main quest all the way through to understand why it wouldn't make any sense if there were humans around. You're playing the wrong game if you want to see some.

Nonsense.

If Murray wanted to he could, and probably will, have Humans in asap.

All this, "It's in the lore" talk means nothing. I've seen plenty of things ruined where the lore is completely ignored because the maker said so and you're suddenly all in agreement and you'd do the same if Murray decided to have Humans in.

They could put humans in, but they didn't and there is no reason to change.

Please give examples of "things ruined where the lore is completely ignored ".

Humans suck and do not need to exist in everything that has intelligent life representation.

DOWN WITH HUMANS!!

It's not nonsense at all, but introducing humans would make a nonsense of the whole premise of the game. Perhaps that wouldn't matter to you, but it would matter a great deal to me.

Twice. They changed and expanded some of the lore but nothing was "ruined"
