Connecting Multiple Short Range Teleports Doesn't Work!?
Okay so Im putting the finishing touches on my main base, I have 6 landing pads and I wanted to put a short range teleporter just outside of where you (the player) pops out of your ship leading into my main base.

But Apparently You cant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ connect more then one Short Range Teleporter in succession!

So I would need an Additional 6 more Short Range Teleporters inside my main base to "Receive/Link" to the 6 by the landing pads!

After your first teleport booth, you pair them- go in one, come out one further away, then go in the next just in front of you...etc etc. So at every subsequent junction point there are TWO teleports- an 'exit' one you come out of, and an 'entry' you go in to. Always remember to keep the vertical bar on your right, when initially placing them - 'right' relative to the intended direction of travel. Elsewise you'll end up going backwards...!

you physically cant connect them together

What behavior were you hoping for? Step on the teleporter at pad A, and you go to pad B, then step off and back on, and go to C, then off and on to go to base, then off and on to go to A? (simplified for 3 pads instead of 6)

Or A, B, and C all go to base, and then base goes to.... ?

Thats how the teleporter in Derlict freighters work, cycling through all available teleporters in sequence. I was hoping base short range teleporters would work like that as well, but no.

You can do the teleport bridge at least to get around the distance restrcition, but otherwise its limited in that way.

I think that the teleporters are no longer always powered. If that's the case, you can have individual teleporters powered using a pushbutton, and glitch multiple teleporters together, like in a teleport bridge. Then pushing the button would take you to that teleporter's destination. This could be used to implement either of the above options, with the caveat that you have to push the button instead of just walking on.

You connect a pair of teleporters together to allow you to go "In & Out". They have to be connected with both 'leccy and the teleport connection. Once you've done that, set up another pair, with the 'Out' of the first pair about 4 to 5 steps walking distance from the 'In' of the second pair. You can connect the lectricity to any teleport, but you can only connect a single pair of IN and OUT together. Yuo then just keep repeating the IN/OUT pairs until you run out of distance form your base blob thing.

you could make a dedicated telport room, with 6 teleporters connected to 6 landing pads, no?

For a large complicated base, maybe you could have a hub for short range teleporters, something like a sky lobby.

How about, Connecting them All Together and then Being able to NAME THEM. Stepping Up To Any Single One and Being able TO PICK Which One You want to goto in that network!

You know kind of like we already do with the Long Range Portals.:BL3Shrug:
Exmp; You have a Freighter. You have 3-4 decks. You have so many base parts in you had to individually color them and create sub sections.
Like - Yellow Engineering Trade, Storage, Refining, Stellar Collectors.
Green- Botanical Hydroponics (pretty self explanatory)
Blue - Command - captains quarters, ready room, about 30 fleet command terminals
White - The main section - Main corridor and bridge where everything branches from
Red - Air Locks - Outer and Inner deck observatory (your 10 forward)

Now would it be nice to have ONE short range teleports per/ section rather then having multiple or wasted space that has upwards of 5 to get inbetween them!?

Comon guys its not rocket science.
