Unable to build/get a base computer

I am unable to build a planetary base, since i cannot get a base computer.

I have tried turning off multiplayer and set everything to "no one" (as this was a suggestion from google searching) 'But it did not help.

This expedition expects you to use the freighter as your base, hence why there's no BC blueprint until you finish the expedition.

But there are plenty of people building bases way early into the expedition

Expedition #8? Complete the "optional" objective or wait for the expedition to officially end.

but there are still other people building bases early in the expedition.

People finish the expedition, then go back along the route and add their bases.

People who ended the expedition can build bases - which many of them do in the starter or rendezvous systems.
People can get access to base computers by finding them in the wild.
People can get access to base computers by doing the corresponding Nexus mission at the Anomaly.
People can use the save game editor to give themselves the ability to build base computers.

so weird... i completed the expedition and ofc as informed got the base computer.
i just wanted to build a base at a portal i found. but ofc now i am 500000 light years away from it :P
