What will happen to my save file if I use Geforce Now?

So I use geforce now and I'm wondering what will happen when I get a pc that can actually run NMS. Will I be able to transfer my save to my pc or will I be stuck using geforce now if I want to continue with that save?

Iirc...as soon as you have NMS on steam , GN an Steam will be sync, but you need to have Steam Cloud enabled

Be aware that some files are not saved on Steam (AFAIK). These are mainly important for your cross save rewards from Expeditions. You can search around the forum and find the location of them. I would back them up to a thumb drive when I make the switch.

You can get the cross save rewards via mod or Save Game Editor if worst comes to worst.

I'm only really worried about my character, like my inventory, units, nanites, quicksilver, freighter/ships, and bases. Lets say I have a save file that has 300 hours of gameplay, I would just like to continue with that one.
