Derelict Freighter Upgrade Class

Is there any way to find out what class upgrade a derelict will give you before you run it? I know there's no way in-game, I'm looking for a tool or a mod that will reveal that information.

I've got three systems which I know give S-class upgrades and I am SO BORED of running those same three freighters over and over. I've been running randoms to get cargo bulkheads and that's been moderately more entertaining, but not knowing what class they give I have no idea if they're worth adding to my list or not.

it is based on the system economy... 1 star is low tier stuff, 2 stars is mid-tier, and 3 stars is the good stuff...

Its always the same class so after you check one upgrade you'll know.

hey krash, this one's the Holy Grail of Derelicts

An S-Class derelict freighter with low number of rooms, no nests and MAX S-Class hyperdrive (250lyrs) AND fuel eff. (20%) modules at the engineering console.

NB. although it's in Euclid, the same glyphs in any galaxy WILL result in the same freighter (name) with the same payout but maybe a different rooms layout (and/or Defenses).

EDIT: remember to turn MP off...as this is a popular system, with lots of players all spawning the same derelict all the same time (almost guaranteed to cause problems in MP)

Thanks! I didn't know the stats of the upgrades were also tied to a specific system as well.

Very interesting. So find 1 S-class derelict and that can be repeated across 256 galaxies.

Still doesn't answer the OP.
1. Arrive in new system
2. Run 3rd party tool
3. Tool reports what class of upgrade will the derelict of this system yield?

Or maybe he wants this:
Input glyphs of system into 3rd party tool and it spits out a prediction of what class of upgrade will the derelict of this system yield?

Not sure what level of laziness he's reaching for, instead of just exploring?

How about this:
Input the glyphs of the system your sitting in and the 3rd party tool gives you a report of all the systems near you (within X light years) about what class of upgrade will the derelict of each system produce? With various columns so you can sort by number of rooms, enemies, etc?

the freighter i posted is the only derelict you'll every need...it has the max stats for the only upgrades that are variable...so you can farm a max freighter from just this one derelict.

as for tools...none that are wot you asked for...but there is a mod that changes all derelict loot to only give the variable upgrades (so you can land, loot the box outside the first door and know if the derelict is S-Class and wot one of the 2 upgrades is.
(it's a bit cheaty for normal play)...it was created initially for use by the guy who updates the NMS wiki.

I already have two of those, and another S-class system that produces less than max stats. I have said this already. I am bored stiff of running the same freighters over and over and over.

I am aware of the mod and I don't want it. That doesn't create a database to share with friends who are looking for the same thing.

so...are you gonna return the favour and post the two 'holy grail' derelicts you've got for us?
(especially seeing as you NOW have 3 Holy grails +1 with lower stats thnx tto us trying to help you Lol)

as to tool: wot you're looking for is very specific and isn't something that's possible,
as the upgrades are RNG lootables that don't exist until you get them just like Schrödinger's cat
