No more Paradise-Titled planets?
Hi everyone,

Since the update, when I started a new game, I noticed that no matter how many stars I visit (even with the G5f theory and other color stars with 5 in mind), I can't seem to find any more planets labeled Paradise Planet.

The only ones I see now are the sub-paradise planets. (e.g. Grassy, Tropical, etc.).

I hope they did not remove them with the update. Please write if you found an actual Paradise Planet here in a new game since the update.

Thanks.

EDIT: If you have found one with a new game in the new update, please report the star's designation. (e.g. G5f, K5pf, etc.)

All I meant is that I have confirmed that the planets I consider Paradise, you can go afk on.
Paradise planets are not a relative terminology in the game, the name is an actual designation given by the game to certain planets with certain characteristics: lush type (ie. star bulbs), no storms, no sentinels. At least 90% I never saw predators on, but they can exist on official Paradise planets. So I guess you'd have to call your preferred planets, Super Paradise Planets. The whole afk thing is why I only build bases on them.

I understand that of course. I only meant to assure the OP that very nice, even my "Super Paradise Planets" still exist, even in Euclid, which I'm only playing on now because that's where the current Expedition exists. There may have been more along the Expedition path, I just don't bother to remember them if they aren't what you call Super Paradise Planets.

My main save is in a Lush Galaxy, where Paradise planets are plentiful.

I saw an Infected Paradise planet earlier today. but i see paradise planets often enough that i didn't even think to take note of the systems coords.

Just went to an F5f system in Eissentam, immediately found a Paradise planet.

Well, the new update is the reason I started playing again so my save was started after the update dropped. I've found several Paradise Planets that changed designations upon landing but this one:

remained Paradise after landing. Of course, it was a bunch of rolling hills with so few level areas, building would have been a logistical oddity but it does match your criteria.

Those technically are not Paradise class since they can have storms. The "Infected" prefix is a giveaway. More like "Former Paradise".

Eissentam is a Lush galaxy, ...you'll find Paradise planets in those galaxies very very frequently.

That's... why I'm there.

I'm finding one in almost every system, even stuff like "G7" "M5PF",
What galaxy are you in? You should give Eissetam a shot if you want P-Planets. One in almost every system

Just to confirm paradise planets exist in harsh galaxies, here an address of one system in Drajayanes galaxy (135) which has not one but two paradise planets in it:
309E07FFFFFC
When it rains, it pours.

This is not true. I have visited a number of planets with the label "Paradise" that have extreme sentinels or storms. I have also found lush planets that were grassy or tropical and had no storms, sentinels, or predators. Contrary to some of the posts that have floated here, there is no difference in potential characteristics between the different lush planet names. The different names are procedurally generated and just used to expand the vocabulary so that you have more than 8 planet types. See https://nomanssky.fandom.com/wiki/Biome_-_Lush for a description of the lush worlds.

Incorrect. You are probably thinking of "Infected Paradise" planets which are not actual Paradise planets. Those can have storms. Those planets might as well be called "fake Paradise" planets. But all the planets actually named "Paradise Planet" in the game by definition CANNOT have storms or sentinels. It is programmed in. Also the sentinel level does not include sentinels around secure sites, those will always be there....I am talking about (as is the game talking about) the landscape sentinels which spawn right next to you as you walk around.

You may also be confused because Paradise planets can have exotic weather types. Exotic weather types "Echoes of Acid", "Clouds of Haunted Green", "Blood Rain", as well as some suggesting stormy weather, were introduced a year or so ago when they expanded the variety of planets in NMS. These weather types, unlike the original weather types, can be EITHER stormy or completely clear. You won't know unless you hang out there for a long time. The original weather types, however, were (and still are) absolutely fixed. If it says Blissful, Beautiful, Mellow, Refreshing Breeze, Mild Rain, etc.... That lush planet forever and ever would have clear weather. Different planet types would have their own version of clear weather names, for example a Cold planet type that is "Icy" is clear weather also. You see that, and you know it won't have storms. Even in a harsh galaxy.

Likewise, if the planet says "Paradise Planet" it is guaranteed to have clear weather and no sentinels. No matter what the weather name is, it will always be tagged to be clear, no matter how stormy it's name sounds. However some do have predators, so Paradise planets may not be all bliss.

Actually if I were to parse out my data on this, I noticed in lush galaxies only, I DO find more paradise planets in the G5, F5 range. If that's true, it could explain how some people are coming up with their rule of thumb, mentioned by the OP, of the G5pf paradise probability theory. They therefore must have collected their data from lush galaxies because they were lazy and didn't want to look in the other galaxy types where they would have to look harder for their data.

Frankly, since I search for paradise planets in all types of galaxies, I find the vast majority are NOT clumped in the G3-G7 range. They are spread all out. But if I isolate to just the lush galaxies, I do tend to see more of that mid-range frequency.

Here is a list of the last 20-some paradise planets (planetary climate ID) I have found in nearly as many different galaxies:
F0, F7, F6pf, F9, G6p, F4p, F7f, F6p, G9p, F2p, F0p, G6p, F1p, G6p, F9pf, G4f, G9, F3p, F8f, G8, G4pf, F3, F0pf, G9p, etc...

It's not at all inaccurate since in the last year I have built bases ONLY on paradise planets, in every galaxy, lush, normal, harsh, and empty.

TLDR, dude.

Please actually read posts before you reply and waste people's time. We are asking about findings in a NEW SAVE GAME since the UPDATE LAST WEEK.

You are also VERY WRONG about this:

You are causing this post to become a disease when we are simply asking a community question for helping others find Paradise planets in A NEW SAVE in the NEW UPDATE.

Please do not reply here anymore.
