Whats with the sitting dudes in the Anomaly

BRO! I will go insane. Every time i go to the anomaly i will see, everytime, there will be 1-7 dudes just SITTING THERE! WHY!? IS THIS SOMETHING I DONT GET OR AM I JUST INSANE?

It's progress for sure. But until they become 'well-studied nuts' (yes, that's possible) there's a long way to go.

you cant say that with certainty. theres nothing forcing me to sit down and contemplate life, and you, and any other sitter cant make me

I do hope they fix the item dupe issue, it takes away alot of the exploration of the game if you know what to do to duplicate items, which in turn ruins the fun in going out and hunting for items and finding other things on your way.

As much trouble as those simple sitters are causing, it can get much better. Follow these simple steps to upgrade your sitting skills and melt some minds:

1. Hotkey the Camera menu option (Ctrl + 1-9).
2. Hotkey the Sitting emote (Ctrl + 1-9). Bonus points for also hotkeying some of the other repeating (unending) emotes (like dancing).
3. Jetpack up in the air.
4. Hit the Camera hotkey.
5. Hit the Sit hotkey. (switch between your bonus hotkeyed emotes for extra funsies).

Play in VR, go to anomaly, do the Macarena. The jump and turn at the same time is a little tricky, but I once earned almost 1bil credits in handouts dancing. Can also dance the YMCA.
Edit: I'm in a wheelchair IRL.

I actually tried play nms vr the other day, it just stayed on the universe loading screen and i fell asleep. Dont know how long I was asleep for but it was kinda nice I think, and about the dancing for handouts in the anomaly thing i got the best idea

Could you elaborate on this?
In which way does the knowledge how to dupe items will ruin the fun in going out hunting? (Not to mention that exactly this is fun for some people.)
Somehow your post seems to indicate that as soon as you know how to dupe items you have to use this knowledge. Again and again and again. Your post seems to indicate that as soon as you know how to do dupe items you are forced to not go out and hunt for things anymore.
How...about: Just don't use a glitch to dupe items - then no one has to fix anything.
Or don't you trust yourself? Can you not restrain yourself from not doing things? Do you have to swallow the cake in front of you just because it's there?
