How do you land on another players freighter?

Hi all, I do not normally do any multiplayer, and have no idea how it works. I have looked - but can not find an easy explanation. So can anyone tell me how I land on another players freighter and how I find one!

First, you have to toggle on Multiplayer options from your settings menu. It's usually toggled on by default, but go check anyway.

Then you have to find a system with other players in it. This can be just by luck or you can search for system glyphs online for known systems with lots of players. another way is to visit the Anomaly and go to the large transporter, and visit other players' bases. Sometimes those bases will be in highly populated systems.

THEN you have to hope someone has summoned their freighter for you to visit. A lot of times, the systems are populated with other players but no one has summoned their freighter. In that case, you can go into chat and ask someone to summon theirs.

If that's all too complicated, you have to make friends and then communicate with them and coordinate a visit.

I just went to the anomaly and asked in chat if anyone wanted to join party to get the milestone done. Once you find someone, join party with them and then exit the anomaly. You'll be given the option to warp to their system or to return to the system you had just been in before entering the anomaly. You can chat to the other person using /g in your chat messages. Once you're both in the same system you can have them summon their freighter. You can only have one person's freighter summoned (and visible to both players) in the system at a time, so you may need to dismiss yours. Then just enter their freighter, it'll have a special icon to help you locate it, and you'll get the milestone. To return the favor just wait for them to dismiss their freighter and then summon yours for them to get the milestone too.

When I did it both freighters were in system. I think they changed the ability for multiple freighters in a system.
