How to find glyphs knowing the coordinates?
There are post on the internet about a planet New Boise where anyone can come and get ALL glyphs. They say 'use portals, they are named according to a glyph number'. Well I came there, 99% of bases are not named or named weirdly, only some of the bases named properly like 'Glyph 11'. I hate this planet so much, this is a trolling or something, but every time I portal to something, there's a trap made by the owner, you get trapped and can't leave, and the portal is out of power. Only way is to reload last save file. And 99% of other portals I teleport to get insufficient power instantly. WHY?! I wanted to power up the power grid, place the carbon, it starts to charging but then turns off in a second. What the hell is going on, my god, I've been wasting my time on this planet for two hours already and managed to get only one glyph! I hate it so much. Every portal takes like 3-5 damn minutes to load on my PS4 (HDD), I keep waiting and waiting to find out there's nothing, or there's a trap, or there's a not working portal. I thought okay, I can try to find the graves myself. I get on my ship, fly above the planet, but I don't see a single grave marker. Is there a way to find them? Maybe some planet map would work? A post on reddit has the coordinates of every glyph, but it doesn't say how to use it. I mean, I could't find how can I enter the coordinates in the game to set a marker there. How do I find these locations via coordinates if I can't write them in the game? Idk maybe on PC you can, but I couldn't find anything on Playstation. I swear I'm so annoyed by this whole thing, ruined my mood

Teleporter != portal

Most players who use solar panels don't know how to do the arithmatic to figure out how many panels and storage batteries they need to never run out of power. That's why most solar powered bases go dead for part of the night cycle. If you arrive at the wrong time, you can't leave since the base teleporter is dead.

That's why I think everyone should learn how to hook up their bases to electromagnetic hotspots. They never go dead if you balance the power needs just once.

The same way as in real life: Travelling there.
Ever used a map and a compass? Ever traveled in real life? Ever not used a car and a GPS to set a waypoint?
Land on a planet, open your visor and in the lower left part you'll see the coordinates at which you're standing right now. Look how those numbers change when moving. Now travel/fly in the direction your coordinates from the internet will point you.
It's as simple as it is in the real world.

You don't need a specific Planet to get all of them. Simply find a Grave Marker, and set up a Base Near it someplace. Return to it every couple of days, and it will Refresh, and give you all the Glyph's in time. (I do not know the Exact Refresh Rate, but it does Refresh)
or, at least they used to...

thanks mister sarcastic, what I meant is that I couldn't see where are the coordinates displayed, I forgot that you can switch view type in this game (mine was third person/ship view). Anyways, I openned a list of all glyphs coordinates, took me a lot of hours to manually find these locations, and for some reason only half of the graves gave me glyphs, the other half didn't let me anything, there was no interaction button. I have no idea why. Sucks.

Might be better off doing it this way.

"Players will also learn all 16 glyphs during the Artemis Path mission, The Purge, without discovering Unknown Graves. After beginning the mission, a player will receive one glyph for every time they warp new to a system, accompanied by a strange message."

Sarcastic? Not in the slightest.
Be long enough in this forum and you will see all kind of questions - with missing the most obvious things (just as using the visor and therefore not needing to switch to 1st person camera).
But whatever - in regards to not being able to interact with traveller graves:
You're on a planet that is advertised for glyphs. Dozens of players visit this planet to get glyphs. Graves, as almost all things in NMS, have an internal timer upon someone can interact with them again.
You just visited graves that were visited by other players before and now they are on a break-timer until someone can interact with them again. Nothing will resolve/change this - beside one thing: Cutting your internet connection (or Steam in offline mode). Not multiplayer disabled, but internet cut. The ODS has to be offline.
This you could do - or you just travel to other planets that aren't that crowded.

As much as I hate the story missions I have to agree with this. It's probably best to just tough it out and get them this way. I just started my 8th save due to the construction limits (I build a lot of big bases) and I can see the appeal in a one stop shop, all glyphs in one place planet.... but players are trolls. They go out of their way to build traps and ruin others game. I tried visiting travelers in space stations to get them but the game has a way of knowing what your looking for... as soon as you start collecting glyphs suddenly travelers are nowhere to be found! At least with the story line you know what's what.

If you are just playing around and not focusing on the Artemis quest line, you still can easily pick up all glyphs just talking to Travellers in space stations. You need to pay 100 nanites for the location of each glyph, so you will need at least 1600 nanites for that. If you focus on that, actually, you can probably get all 16 glyphs faster than doing the Artemis quest line, if you are lucky. The Artemis quest line though leads you to the center of the galaxy faster, and gives you better choices for your next galaxy, -- IF you don't know how the glyphs organize galaxy space.

  • If you look up coordinates for a planet at the center of the Euclid galaxy though, you can use that address indefinitely to short cut to the center of any galaxy.

By the way, someone told me 'you just warp to different systems and get glyphs'. I also saw this exact same thing in some youtube video, a guy warped and got a glyph out of nowhere. Is it that Artemis quest you talking about or something else? If I own 10 glyphs now, do I need to do a whole artemis quest to the very end to get the remaining 6 glyphs, or It will give the ones I need in the first half of the quest chain?

No. You can do as I posted above........
You can get All 16 from One grave Marker in time.

I'm not sure that works. I tested it about 6 months ago after somebody posted that. The grave only gave one glyph. I checked every day for a week.

If you haven't played long, the easiest way to get the glyphs is to do the Artemis/16-16-16/Purge quest.
If you've already visited 50 stations or more, you can get them from the graves. Use the teleporter to jump to the last station on the list each time. Run around the station to see if there are any of those transparent guys. If there are, talk to them twice to get the grave location. That only works if you've visited enough stations to find 16 transparent entities. You could just keep jumping from system to system using your ship, then check each station to see if there's one there. That might be quicker than doing the test

If there have been Changes in the game, then perhaps it may not, but over the two years I have played, I have done it that way 3 times. Then I just did the Atlas process for the Purge.
You do have to give the Marker Time to Refresh. As I recall, it was 3 or 4 days..? You go back too early, I think it only resets it..
