That's why I think everyone should learn how to hook up their bases to electromagnetic hotspots. They never go dead if you balance the power needs just once.
The same way as in real life: Travelling there.
Ever used a map and a compass? Ever traveled in real life? Ever not used a car and a GPS to set a waypoint?
Land on a planet, open your visor and in the lower left part you'll see the coordinates at which you're standing right now. Look how those numbers change when moving. Now travel/fly in the direction your coordinates from the internet will point you.
It's as simple as it is in the real world.
or, at least they used to...
"Players will also learn all 16 glyphs during the Artemis Path mission, The Purge, without discovering Unknown Graves. After beginning the mission, a player will receive one glyph for every time they warp new to a system, accompanied by a strange message."
Sarcastic? Not in the slightest.
Be long enough in this forum and you will see all kind of questions - with missing the most obvious things (just as using the visor and therefore not needing to switch to 1st person camera).
But whatever - in regards to not being able to interact with traveller graves:
You're on a planet that is advertised for glyphs. Dozens of players visit this planet to get glyphs. Graves, as almost all things in NMS, have an internal timer upon someone can interact with them again.
You just visited graves that were visited by other players before and now they are on a break-timer until someone can interact with them again. Nothing will resolve/change this - beside one thing: Cutting your internet connection (or Steam in offline mode). Not multiplayer disabled, but internet cut. The ODS has to be offline.
This you could do - or you just travel to other planets that aren't that crowded.
As much as I hate the story missions I have to agree with this. It's probably best to just tough it out and get them this way. I just started my 8th save due to the construction limits (I build a lot of big bases) and I can see the appeal in a one stop shop, all glyphs in one place planet.... but players are trolls. They go out of their way to build traps and ruin others game. I tried visiting travelers in space stations to get them but the game has a way of knowing what your looking for... as soon as you start collecting glyphs suddenly travelers are nowhere to be found! At least with the story line you know what's what.
By the way, someone told me 'you just warp to different systems and get glyphs'. I also saw this exact same thing in some youtube video, a guy warped and got a glyph out of nowhere. Is it that Artemis quest you talking about or something else? If I own 10 glyphs now, do I need to do a whole artemis quest to the very end to get the remaining 6 glyphs, or It will give the ones I need in the first half of the quest chain?
Yes.
You can get All 16 from One grave Marker in time.
If you've already visited 50 stations or more, you can get them from the graves. Use the teleporter to jump to the last station on the list each time. Run around the station to see if there are any of those transparent guys. If there are, talk to them twice to get the grave location. That only works if you've visited enough stations to find 16 transparent entities. You could just keep jumping from system to system using your ship, then check each station to see if there's one there. That might be quicker than doing the test
You do have to give the Marker Time to Refresh. As I recall, it was 3 or 4 days..? You go back too early, I think it only resets it..
