missing curios

would someone please tell me what these missing curios are and maybe where to get them? I've done all the EXPs and havw about a thousand hours in NMS and I'd just kinda like to complete these if possible. Thanks

Yeah, the damn quest was in my log all along. I remember going to tethys and giving him some stuff and telling people about his plan but I just musta wandered off in the middle of the quest to do something else and forgot it.
As far as the divergence cube, the vykeen tablet and the station override, I'll have to do a little more googlin cuz all i see is it's part of the "main" mission. Thanks for the help!

Divergence Cube and Vy'Keen tablet are both obtained during the main quest. I actually just finished up this portion of it on a new save. You get them during the portion where you need to talk to a Cartographer of each race.

Yeah I read that and it seems Vaguely familiar, thanks. You're pretty sure that if you do it on one save it goes for the rest of current and future saves?

Yes. I just recently returned to the game, and had my old save from a year or two ago still active. My current save, a fresh one, has all the stuff from that old one showing on it. Recipes, materials, curios, etc etc. For the recipes, it has a mark on it showing that you have learned it on the current save.

I haven't done anything with a settlement so I would not have triggered the Trace of Metal quest, yet I have gotten a Hardframe Engine.
I think I got it when I decided to mess around with the Sentinels and see just how long combat would go with them. I showed up to a Sentinel Pillar to disable it for a different reason but decided instead to fight them to see where that lead and if they would eventually stop.
I basically parked myself on top of the pillar and began shooting. When I needed it, I jumped to the surface to grab a shield recharge.
Eventually the Hardframe entered the scene and I defeated it by hiding up there and shooting. This, if I'm not mistaken, resulted in the Hardframe Engine dropping. Great way to get lots of salvaged glass that make sentinel augs too. I might try this again just for fun...
I wouldn't want to restart either.

Yeah, I also picked up a hardframe engine during the latest Expedition and did not have a settlement yet. I think it needs to be in your inventory to trigger the next step in Trace of Metal after you are attacked at the Settlement. You should also pick up some from the trash after that initial battle.

Yes the Hardframe Engine is a standard drop item from a walker, the Radiant Brain is obtained as a scripted event in the Trace of Metal quest.

Hardframe isn't from a walker, it's from a Sentinel equivalent of the Minotaur exo-mech.

Highly recommend a paralysis mortar there, it makes it a lot easier.

I got quite a few Walker Brains from killing Walkers. The Hardframe Engine comes from a different beast. Larger. I do believe it is indeed called a Hardframe.

Most importantly, there's nothing super special that would require a player to restart in order to get this. That's a good thing. Just go knock-off the big boy.

The station key is only available in Expedition 3 (AFAIK)

I just got one from defeating a bunch of sentinels at my settlement including one of the larger two-legged sentinel mechanical sentries (smaller than the giant walker). They're far easier to defeat with the multi-tool sentinel upgrades (see the Hello Games Patch Notes for the Sentinel Update)
