or select cadmium in the catalog and when you go to warp it will be a route visible.
That setting can be found here in the game.
Option -> General Options -> Galaxy Map Color Filter
There is also a letter designation for the type of star it is in the star chart.
F and G = Yellow star
M and K = Red Star (Cadmium is on its planets)
E = Green Star (there is Emeril on the planets)
B and O = Blue star (and there you find Indium)
note, and to be able to get to (red green blue) stars, you need to upgrade your Ship or Freigter, before you can do it.
There are no shortage of red stars so they are not difficult to find.
Not sure why it specifically says red when it's clearly pink on the map.
