i listen to whatever NMS is playing... i might also have a TV (or two tuned to COMET and QUEST networks) and some friends' twitch streams playing in the background but my attention is on NMS so that's mainly what i hear... that is, until i start refining things and turn to these forums for a little bit while the refiners run...

I actually leave the game audio, including music, on and don't play my own at all.
Which is not normal for a game where I've put as many hours into it as I have with NMS. I guess I must be happy with the game soundtrack, even after all these years.
