Should I trade directly with NPC's or Galactic Trade terminal
I typically sell off resources and such. In order to keep demand from decreasing, should I sell directly to NPC Pilots?

i generally always sell to the trade terminal, idk why, but i feel like npc's would try to hustle me....idk, likely not the case but i feel like they do.

If you want to keep the demand high, sell to pilots. If you are going to sell once in 24-48 hours then it doesn't really matter. The prices will recover by the next time you play.

The pilots may have items not available at the trade terminal. I usually use the trade terminal. After you have played for awhile you realize you can't help but get rich so you don't really worry about prices anymore...just freeing up inventory slots for early game.

Traders' inventories vary slightly also if you're looking for something.

So, the traders don't make their own prices separate from the trade terminal? i kinda thought they did, no evidence, just felt like i got lower prices from them...idk

Logically, always trade with the pilots because prices are unaffected. Each time you sell to a terminal, the price goes down, so you get a decreasing amount of money for the same deal. Also, if you're buying, the terminal stock is soon exhausted, but the pilots keep replacing each other to give you a never ending supply. They all have the basics: sodium, ferrite dust, oxygen, etc, but if you want something in particular, you might have to try a few different pilots.
